La città dei due mari / The city of two seas
Nella zona occidentale della Sicilia, incastonata tra uno splendido mare azzurro ed il monte Erice, sorge Trapani, la città dei due mari, così chiamata perchè adagiata su un promontorio bagnato da tutti e tre i lati dal mare. 'Drepanon', questo il suo antico nome, nacque appunto attorno al porto, inizialmente come villaggio sicano e poi come piccola città fortificata, in cui per secoli sono vissuti pescatori, commercianti, artigiani di popolazioni diverse. Il cuore pulsante della città è il porto che si trova nel centro storico mentre l'estrema punta del centro abitato è rappresentato dalla Torre di Ligny, dove è ubicato il Museo della Preistoria, raggiungibile percorrendo una stretta via circondata dal mare.

In the west of Sicily, Trapani is located among a beautiful blue sea and Mount Erice; the city of two seas, so named because it lies on a promontory wet from all three sides by the sea. 'Drepanon', this is its old name, was born just around the harbor, initially as a village Sican and then as a small fortified city, where they have lived for centuries, fishermen, traders, artisans of different populations. The heart of the city is the port that is located in the historic center and the extremity of the town is the Tower of Ligny, where there is the Museum of Prehistory, reached along a narrow street surrounded by sea.

La signora Antonella gestisce alcuni appartamenti situati centro storico di Trapani.
